When it’s your turn to get Medicare, don’t get pigeon-holed into believing you only have one option; you actually have several. Medicare Advantage is one such option. Medicare Part C, also known as Medicare Advantage, is an option to receive Medicare benefits (Parts A & B) from a Medicare-approved private company. Because these policies are provided by a private company, they may include coverages not provided by Original Medicare.
Medicare Part D
Also known as Prescription Drug Coverage, Medicare Part D is an option available to help you cover any prescription drug expenses. Often included as part of a Medicare Advantage plan called MAPD, Part D can also be gotten as a ``stand-alone`` benefit.
